It looks like I have reached that point where I am ready to offload The Beast to someone else. I haven't touched it in some time and I have frankly lost my interest in getting it back to brand new. If someone reading this is interested in taking it off my hands please let me know. Currently it does not start so you will need to pick it up. I believe this is due to the reference sensor on the trans but I haven't the time or energy nor do I want to plunk more money into it at this point. It will also need at least one tire; the right rear will hold air enough to get it onto a flatbed but goes flat within a couple days. If you read back in my posts you will also see that it runs well when it starts. I let my uncle borrow it a while back when he needed a car and he had the coolant overflow replaced as well as the exhaust patched in return.
I am open to offers and can provide some pictures if there are any I haven't got here already. Keep in mind I'm in no big rush to get rid of it so any lowball offers will be ignored. I'm also going to contact a local BMW shop that does restorations to see if they may be interested in fixing it up.

Last Legs
Been a very long time since I've posted anything here, but it looks like the project will be coming to a close soon.

A Good Run
It was nice and warm (ish) today so I went out for a nice cruise in the Beast. It runs pretty well considering it sat for most of the early part of the year so far without much use at all. I was hoping some of the electronics would work that were previously not but so such luck. The check system, turn signals and wipers are still non-functional. I assume the cruise control as well but I have never bothered to figure out how to use it on this car. So, all this leads me to believe there may be something in the steering column itself that is loose or broken or such. Going to take a look in the Bentley and see what might run through there or if there is some common relay/fuse somewhere for all these things.

Warm Weather On The Way?
Looks like we might start seeing some consistently warmer weather now. Of course by warmer I don't necessarily mean warm. I would still consider 40s and 50s cold but at least I'd be able to work on the Beast.
